About ME

Hey There, I am Alyssa!

Hey hey! I’m Alyssa Fraser, and I’m so glad you’re here. ♡

For more than nine years, I’ve been passionate about empowering women to feel better, nourish themselves well, and build a healthier relationship with their bodies and food. My own wellness journey began more than 11 years ago, after the birth of my son. At the time, I didn’t really understand how to properly nourish my body or how much movement, food, rest, and mindset could impact the way I felt. What started as a desire to “be healthy” eventually became a much deeper journey of healing my relationship with food, exercise, and my body.

Today, I approach wellness from a completely different perspective — one rooted in nourishment, balance, body awareness, and true health.

My Story

Like so many women, my relationship with my body and food hasn’t always been easy. In my late teens and early twenties, I struggled with undereating, overexercising, and constantly scrutinizing my body. Even after becoming a mom, the desire to have a smaller body stayed with me. That mindset eventually led me into a cycle of restrictive eating, bingeing, fear of carbohydrates, food anxiety, and constantly wondering whether I was eating “too much.” I was also overtraining — sometimes waking up in the early hours just to take pre-workout and exercise. From the outside, I thought I was being healthy.

On the inside, I was exhausted, confused, and disconnected from what my body actually needed.

I spent five years involved in a health and fitness MLM, and although that experience taught me a lot, it also opened my eyes to the ways diet and wellness culture can negatively impact our mental health and relationship with our bodies.

Then, in 2021, I experienced a blood clot in my arm that required two major surgeries.

That experience changed my perspective in ways I never expected.

For the first time, I was forced to really look at my body differently. Instead of constantly trying to change it, shrink it, or push it harder, I began learning how to appreciate it, listen to it, and care for it.

I realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life fighting against my body. I wanted to nourish it.

MY eyes were open…

Before starting formal education, I felt drained and lost. Talking with other women, I learned about the challenges with food. Many shared struggles with me, undereating, binging, and body image, prompting me to speak openly about these issues on social media, realizing the influence of diet culture. Finding my voice, I shifted away from restriction and towards nourishment.

The journey wasn’t easy. For years, I battled old mindsets, striving daily to eat enough, reconnect with my body, and trust it again. I was determined to appreciate my body after my surgieries and stop fighting against it.

This pivotal moment taught me the importance of nourishing my body for metabolism and cellular health. Rejecting food obsessions and body scrutiny, I embraced eating to feel good. Breakfast, consistent nourishment, and listening to my body’s needs became crucial in my journey toward self-love and body acceptance.

Gradually, a transformation unfolded—I said goodbye to binging, overcame cravings, slowed life down and rediscovered my vitality. Finally, I felt truly nourished.

FINDING MY WAY BACK TO TRUE HEALTH

The journey wasn’t overnight. For years, I had to work through old beliefs and habits. I had to learn how to eat enough, reconnect with my body, and trust that food wasn’t something I needed to fear.

After my surgeries, I became even more determined to appreciate the body that had carried me through so much. I began to understand that health is so much more than a number on a scale or the size of our body.

It’s about nourishment.

It’s about energy.

It’s about metabolism and cellular health.

It’s about our relationship with food.

It’s about movement that supports us rather than punishes us.

It’s about feeling safe in our bodies.

And it’s about creating a life where food doesn’t consume our thoughts.

Over time, something beautiful happened. I started feeling more energized. I overcame the binge-restrict cycle. My cravings became easier to understand. I slowed down. I started enjoying food again.

Most importantly, I finally felt NOURISHED.

WHY I AM HERE

In November 2022, I made the decision to leave the MLM I had been part of and follow a different path — one that would allow me to offer women more personalized, individualized support.

That decision ultimately led me to holistic nutrition.

After years of personal experience, learning, and growing within the wellness space, I completed my Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner (RHNP) Diploma in January 2025.

I’ve also spent more than 15 years working as a Dental Assistant. While I’ve loved the people and relationships that came with that career, life changes — and so do our bodies.

Recently, I took a step back from dental assisting to create more space for something I’ve become incredibly passionate about: helping women feel nourished, supported, and confident in their bodies.

And honestly?

I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.

What I Believe

I believe you deserve to feel good in your body without constantly fighting it.

I believe food is nourishment — not something to fear, earn, or feel guilty about.

I believe health doesn’t require perfection.

I believe your body deserves consistency, compassion, and enough nourishment.

And I believe wellness should add to your life, not take it over.

If you’ve ever felt confused about food, stuck in an all-or-nothing mindset, disconnected from your body, or like you’re constantly starting over, I want you to know:

You are not broken.

There is another way.

My hope is to help you find that way — through nourishment, education, self-trust, and a deeper understanding of what your body actually needs.

A little reminder from me to you…

You don’t have to completely change your life to take care of yourself.

You don’t need another strict plan, another list of foods you can’t eat, or another reason to feel like you’re not doing enough.

You just need to start where you are.
